The analyzer does not check whether saved pages are live, because doing so would contact those sites and disclose your library.

Definitions

A report, not a verdict.

Extra copies
Bookmarks beyond the first item in a repeated destination group. A repeated bookmark can still be intentional when it lives in two useful folders.
Tracking variants
URLs that differ only after common campaign parameters such as utm_source or gclid are removed. The analyzer keeps this separate from exact duplicates.
Saved date
The optional ADD_DATE value in a bookmark export. Browsers can omit or rewrite it during migration, so an absent date does not mean the bookmark is new.
Folder
The path represented by nested lists in the export. Root-level bookmarks are counted as Root.

Privacy model

Your library never leaves the tab.

Parsing, grouping, and CSV creation happen in your browser. There is no upload endpoint, analytics call, account, or dead-link checker on this page. Safari ZIP extraction is also performed locally and reads HTML entries only.

Next step

Move carefully, then make the library easier to retrieve.

If you are switching browsers, follow the browser-to-browser migration guide. For the evidence behind the supported formats, read the 2026 bookmark portability report.

Built by Rewind

Once the library is clean, find things by when you saved them.

Rewind turns the Chrome bookmarks you already have into a visual, searchable timeline.
